Scoff much?

How many are guilty of challenging the verity of astrology while being uninformed on the matter? For honest men and women, the slice of humble pie found in the following account contains an extra bite of humility.

During the late-1930s astrologer and mathematician Carl Payne Tobey was visiting Nicola Tesla at his room in the New Yorker Hotel and asked the inventor, “What is your opinion on astrology?” Tesla replied, “I don’t know anything about it.” Tobey pressed the matter, again asking Tesla, “But what do you think? What is your opinion?” Putting the matter to rest, Tesla answered Tobey with a question of his own, “Look, how can I have an opinion on something I know nothing about?”
